“We visited this spot for the first time tonight with our twins, and it was truly delicious. The owner is genuinely one of the kindest individuals I’ve ever met. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and sincerely hope he realizes just how amazing his food is. The nachos were fantastic! I tried the chicken nachos, while my husband enjoyed his BBQ and brisket. I hope Polk county supports our local restaurants and remember to thank the owner for his service since he is a veteran.”

“Stopped at Exotic Que around mile marker 37.5 on the Silver Comet Trail and it did not disappoint! The smoked ribs and brisket were absolutely top-notch—tender, flavorful, and packed with that perfect smoky bite. The place has a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere that makes it easy to relax after a ride. Service was quick and friendly, and you can tell this is a veteran-owned business that takes pride in both the food and the customer experience. Great spot to fuel up before or after the trail—I’ll definitely be back!”
